You are a master at stock transplants. Did you braze this one on too?

Yup and took an old SPR toprail and cut it down to make the scope riser.

Actually Wellsey is the master of making cool shit in general. He's not content to leave anything alone. He'll splice the parts from 20 guns all together to have a mishmash of unlikely components that somehow just... WORK. And look awesome while doing it.

Obvious Saber is obvious. Just keep making cool shit and we won't report you to all the big manufacturers for mixing up their shit and making stuff that's cooler than their little Chinese asses could think up.

Your not going to hear anything from me.Im working on getting a real deal shim job on this thing because im going to go with the A&K gears.Im not to sure of them, but because its an SR-25 my choices are limited. After I get the shimming done im going to fish plate the front of the gearbox to keep it from cracking, port the bushing holes to 8mm,finish the AOE adjustment, dampen the cylinderhead, crown the airnozzle, build an air brake piston head, and before I close it up wrap the spring to keep it from rattling.Im going to do alot of dampening and vibration mods on this, needless to say im going to take my time at it.

Yes Roe fish plating.I learned to do it on old car and truck frames that were rusted out.Im applying the same principle to the GB on this rifle.Im going to braze two pieces of alluminum that are 4cmx2mm to the front sides of the GB,along with some sections of 2mm thick tubing on the round area of the front of the GB case.My hope is being as how the HTS 2000 rod I use is 5 times stronger than steele, and the additional aluminum will make the GB case stronger, maybe even uncrackable. When I get it done ill post picks along with the 8mm bushings after I resize the holes.
