New product announcements, cool stuff you've found

AirsoftFix is getting a production sample of the PTS Magpul PDR-C AEG sometime on Wednesday. We are closed Wednesday, but on Thursday, you'll be able to come by the shop and check it out. We might have it part of the day Friday, but it needs to be sent back to PTS within 48 hours of getting it.

We will be chronoing the gun, testing it with 7.4v and 11.1v LiPos, and doing a complete internal teardown and internal review of the gun.

On Thursday, we will start accepting pre-orders for the PDR-C. We currently have 3 units allocated to us and will increase that number as we take on more pre-orders, but you should pre-order ASAP if you want one for sure.

Retail price will be $379. The gun will come with a PMag, but no battery or charger, as usual for higher-end guns. We recommend and stock the BOL 7.4v and 11.1v Micro Stick LiPos and BOL PORTE Plus Balance Charger.

Pre-order deposits will be the full price of $379 since there will be a short time between taking the pre-orders and filling them sometime in mid-to-late-March.

What do you want to know about the PDR? Here's a list of questions we want to answer so far:
- Is there any place else on the gun to fit a battery, perhaps with slight modification?
- How easy would it be to mount a PEQ box for a larger battery?
- We know the mechbox shell is unique to this gun, but are all of the internal parts compatible with V2/V3/something else?
- What length of motor is in this gun? Is it easy to replace? Are the wires soldered on or are there blade connectors?
- How long is the inner barrel?
- What inner diameter is the inner barrel?
- We know PMags work, will KWA K120 mags work? Regular STANAG-style metal mags?

Would be interesting to know if there is a possibility to fit more rail space. Maybe something like what the P90 has.
