Good choice. I really like contemporary German gear. See if you can find any at 907 surplus.

My only question would be why Desert/why not Flecktarn? I keep a set for fall/early spring.

Do you think 907 surplus would have Aridfleck in? They might have regular flecktarn and maybe tropentarn, but airdfleck is pretty new.

No. You would pay less though.

907 has all the standards (Black, OD Green, Coyote Tan/Brown, Woodland BDU) but also carry ACU, MARPAT, Multi-Cam, and a few ATACs items. Anything else has to be special ordered but everything there is reasonably priced. I got a pair of ESS tank operator goggles ($90+ retail) for $20 with only a couple of rubs and dings.

Do they give discounts to everyone who gives them a few rubs and dings or is that a special arrangement you have with them?

They also keep around a bunch of random stuff without price tags, like sometimes old AR parts or British DPM. What you see is what is available.

You Americans have a naive imagination of "rubs and dings". 8-)

Since when is Lobo not an American? What else would he be? A Canadian spy?
