Best Camo fo AK

Postby Wyoming » Sat Oct 20, 2012 2:01 pm

hey so I have been trying decide on which camo pattern I should get for next spring/summer season of airsoft. I have it narrowed down to Aridfleck, Danish M84 Flecktarn, or Italian Vegitato. Which do you think will be best?

This comes up a couple times every year and the best answer I have seen is its is entirely personal preference. Alot of guys like using multi-cam. Some prefer marpat, I personally go with a woodland BDU bottom and a black tee shirt and still do fine. If you are trying to make a loadout of a specific unit/era, stick to whats accurate. We have a guy tromping out here in Kaki pants and a white shirt and he is still the sneakiest guy of our community. As the old saying goes, just because you have a guille suit, that doesnt make you a sniper. Just because you have the best camo, that doesnt mean you will be the least visible out of all the guys on you're team. same can be said about orange tips and arm bands.

In short, Go with what you think looks cool.

So true saber. As for camo patterns, other than your personal choice, I'd recommend either flektarn, bdu, or just go straight black like I did XD it totally worked too.

Heh heh. That wasn't Saber.

On the other hand, cool camouflage is cool. I recommend going to 907 Surplus to see if they have anything that you like for cheap.

If you want to order something special... I have seen Tropentarn/Aridfleck work exceptionally well in the fall/winter/early spring.

For the summer, Danish M84 all the way.

But really, we all know that the ground is the best camo.(0:37) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5IJbhM10pQ&feature=plcp

Boomer wants to be like me so bad that he's impersonating me on forums now. Next thing you know he'll have a mohawk. I have an old set of Russian camo that resembles regular woodland BDU's in it's coloration. They have served me well for quite some time now as I crept up on unwary people and drug them kicking and screaming to the Saberhole.
In light of the recent shifts in policy my particular brand of humor and wit is no longer welcome here.

If you want to use russian camo, i can to try to recommend a Survival Pattern (SURPAT) - http://www.srvv.org/catalog/1308/

I use this camo, and no any questions :) The nature of Alaska and Kamchatka is very similar, and this camouflage really provides masking (unlike woodland)

Examples:
http://www.srvv.org/surpat/

SURPAT is buing for special forces of russian structures (like Federal Security Servise (FSB), Ministry of internal Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), Federal service on control of drug trafficking (FSKN))
I against drugs. I remind that it is forbid to use them and furthermore to extend
