Can black work with woodland camo?

Not flat black nope... maybe some black but if you were wearing ALL black.... youd stick out like a sore thumb.

Depends on what the heck you're talking about...

Keep in mind, this is my personal opinion, and if you don't agree, that's fine. It's airsoft, so do what you want. A black BDU top with M81 woodland trousers (I'm assuming it's M81, and not woodland MARPAT, or anything else) would be cool in my book, the other way would look alright. If you're talking boots, then heck yeah, I think black boots and M81 looks way better than desert boots. If you're talking equipment, then I place the cool factor at *meh*. To me, black just looks...cheap. It works generically with every camouflage, but it just doesn't look as good as dedicated combinations. For woodland, OD green or woodland gear looks best to me. Tan looks alright, but I personally don't dig that combo too much.

Like I said, these are just my opinions. In the end, its you're loadout, so quit worrying about what other people think, be creative, and do you're own thing.

Oh, and next time, be more specific.

When we were airsofting in wasilla this summer, some guy had all flat OD green on..... dominated the shit out of a couple of skirmishes lol.

Cool factor wise black can work I suppose.

Black is often associated with police forces for uniformity, however it truly does not afford the user much in the way of concealment.

You would be better off wearing Woodland BDUs with a Coyote Brown or OD Green set of gear IMHO.
