MW2 NVG Rhino mount options?

I saw that there will be a night game going on endless rain and I wanted to use my NVG for this game. I was thinking to mount it on a rhino arm somehow so that I can just bring it down from the top of their helmet like how most soldiers use their NVGs. But seeing as how this isnt a real NVG, I wanted to see if anyone can help me implement a makeshift mount on a rhino arm? This is how the NVG looks like:

The top part where the rubber elastic band comes through, that is where im thinking to have the rhino arm be mounted to but just dont know how...

Last time I checked, 907 Surplus had a whole bunch of rhino mounts available. That might be a good place to start.

Do you think the rhino mounts for emerson fast helms is different? I went to 907 surplus today and it seems the rhino mounts there wont fit my helm.

Emerson Fast Helmets are knockoff helmets of the OpsCore series of tactical helmets. The problem with knockoffs is that they do not have the same rigid tolerances that genuine gear has.

I have an emerson helmet that I used before going to the Team Wendy, and I had the same issue which prompted me to update my headgear. The problem isn't the rhino arm, its the NVG shroud that comes with the knockoff. This is fixable by buying an actual NVG three-hole shroud.
