CQR help

Postby Aidan » Mon Oct 08, 2012 8:04 pm

A few weeks ago, I had an issue with the charging handle and a few other non essential internal parents on my KWA CQR Mod 1. One of the problems was that a small metal piece would not stay in place. It is a rectangle about 0.75 cm tall and 3 cm long. It has six small holes in it, which fit on several small pegs. I had the gun repaired at AifsoftFix, and everything was ok, untill a few minutes ago. I picked up the gun and the piece fell out of the magwell! I don't think this is an important piece, and it does not seen to have a purpose. It is not visible from the outside. However, I am far from an expert, so I wanted to make sure that this is not a serious problem. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see that part on the parts diagram... Is it up inside the magwell? It might be some kind of insert to make the magazines fit tighter?

You can bring it by the shop sometime and we can take a quick look at it.

I wrote that wrong, I have the 11in mod 2. It is in the manual for that one, its called the Charging handle holder or something like that, I'll check at home. It could be that it wasn't necessary, so they didn't add it in the mod one.
